About Henosis Church

Henosis Church exists to lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

The name Henosis (ἕνωσις, pronounced heh-NO-sis) comes from the Greek word meaning “unity” or “oneness.” It reflects God’s heart for His people to be united in Christ—growing together in faith, love, and spiritual maturity.

This vision is rooted in Ephesians 4:13, where the Apostle Paul speaks of the Church reaching “the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.” We believe unity is not uniformity, but a shared life in Christ shaped by grace, truth, and love.

We are a bilingual, multicultural church committed to building a community centered on Presence, Purpose, and People—a place where individuals encounter God, discover their God-given identity, and walk together in unity.

Through worship, discipleship, community, and outreach, we seek to reflect the heart of Jesus in everything we do.

1. PRESENCE

Foundation Verse:
📖 Exodus 33:14 – “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Why this verse:
Henosis Church emphasizes encountering Jesus deeply. The presence of God is what guides, transforms, and sets His people apart. Without His presence, we are nothing; with His presence, we are forever changed.

2. PURPOSE

Foundation Verse:
📖 Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand for us to walk in.”

Why this verse:
Every person is created with divine purpose. This verse affirms that we were intentionally designed with identity, calling, and destiny in Christ. At Henosis, we help people discover and walk in the purpose God has already prepared for them.

3. PEOPLE

Foundation Verse:
📖 John 13:34–35 – “A new command I give you: Love one another… By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

Why this verse:
Our identity emphasizes community, unity, and multicultural belonging. Jesus teaches that mutual love is the true mark of His disciples. We value people because they matter to God, and we reflect Christ when we love with His love.
